Financing your property purchase
If you are looking to finance your propety purchase in Spain,
then you have the option to use a
Spanish mortgage. The mortgages in Spain are easy to arrange
and in general interest rates are lower than other European
countries. I have a number of contacts to arrange a competitive

Spanish banks are willing to lend money only for built
property, therefore if you are looking at buying offplan or from
a new development still under construction I recommend that you
plan your finances so that you can finance the purchase until
completion. You then
have the possibility of transfering to a Spanish mortgage.
The general rule is that a Spanish mortgage is accessible for up
to 70% of the
property value and over a 10 to 15 year period.
Should you have sufficient equity in your own property, i.e. the
difference between your mortgage and the current value of your property,
most banks and building societies will advance up to 90% of your
property's current value, which can be used to fund or part fund a
property.
